Semi-Lucid?
I don't really know how many people here think of lucid dreams, to me, they're the ones that you can control. My dreams, 99.9% of the time, are extremely lifelike, where I can smell, taste, feel, hear and see very clearly. But I've never been able to control them, not yet I should say.
But last night, after I woke up, wrote down my dream, I went back to sleep immediately, I wanted to do a WILD, but basically the second I closed my eyes, I was out. The weird thing is, is that I found myself immediately outside a building, it was daylight, but it wasn't sunny. A guy more or less popped up in front of me from out of nowhere, and he had a big weird ass doll in both hands, not like Jeff Dunham or anything, but he just stood there and stared at me, smiling.
I remember flat out asking him "what in the fuck are you supposed to be" and he kept smiling and I think he said "guess". Before I could really guess, or kick his ass, he looked at the dolls, then back at me, motioned with the left one and it was like since I was drawn to it, he nodded his head with approval. Then he asks me "David, would you like to fly?"
I was like "hells yeah" I didn't even care that he knew my real name or anything, all I cared about was finally interracting with a dream (this has never happened), but I wasn't consciously controlling it, I was along for the ride. Anyways, he just looked at me, and said "well, then fly" and just like that, I was up and out, flying around like superman and whatnot. The thing is, when I flew, I didn't look down at the dream world, I just looked straight ahead into nothingness. I came back down and he was still there, like I didn't ever move, and he just kept smiling at me, still had the dolls too.
I asked if I flew or not, and he nodded. The dream went on like this for quite some time, I'd fly and I'm pretty positive I punched someone (not him) and each time I came back, it was him standing there, with those creepy voodoo looking dolls that were half the size that he was, and he just always smiled at me and tried to help me.
Could this be basically like a semi-lucid?

If you tell yourself: "I'm lucid right now" in a dream and remember it. It doesn't matter if you can't recall the exact moment you achieve lucidity and therefore having trouble deciding if you were indeed lucid or not, then you'll know that you were but you can't just recall it perfectly.
Sounds like a lucid to me, but like always the only one who can really know is you :)

Thanks, I copied all of your tasks from your class, once I'm able to actually control my dreams, I plan on knocking them all out, but I'm starting with all the basics first and working my way up.

Awesome dream. Did you know you were dreaming, or are you not sure?
