When i first started practicing (i only knew about RCs back then), i got lucid on the third day, but since it was short i gave up because of laziness. I didn't practice at all for half a year.
Then i started again, got to know about different techniques, ect from the hungarian lucid dreaming site... I did RCs for like 4 months, with not much of a success, then i started doing WBTBs... ever since it just got better.
I'm practicing since like 2 years now... and i have around 2 LDs/week... i wish i would've not given up at first so i could be doing it since longer :) It's really worth it ^^

I used to be very active in lucid dreaming. Then decided not to due to being busy. If I had the Nova Dreamer, or that new one would come out I would buy that and wouldn't have to focus so hard on techniques for lucid dreaming which i think is a big thing against lucid dreaming. Especially WILD's take willpower to accomplish. Waking up in the middle of the night is annoying. I think that it pushed me away, but recently I've found myself trying more and more to get back into lucid dreaming. I'm trying new techniques and getting mixed results. But i just miss the height of my lucid dreaming when I was getting 3-5 lucids a week. Now I'm lucky to get one every few weeks, and that needs to change.
