Location Based LD
Hello! I'm thinking of trying a new method, in which I'll set aside times during the day to go lay in bed and just focus on lucid dreaming. The only other time I'll lay down will be to go to sleep. In theory, my mind will become conditioned to associate lucid dreaming with being in my bed and/or in a horizontal position, thus more lucids.
Though I'm tempted to use meditation, I feel like lying down and meditating would be to relaxing. I think it'll be more effective for me if I read books on the subject while lying down.
Thoughts on the method? Redirects to existing methods which are identical?
:-?

I think this is a good idea. I haven't heard anyone mention anything like this before so I'm interested to see how it works out. I may start incorporating this into my daily routine as well and see if it has an effect. My problem is that sometimes I also lie in my bed to do other things like reading or just relaxing so I may have to stop doing that and just start using my bed for sleep and thinking about lucid dreaming. Hope this has some effect, you may be on to something with this!

Dont forget you are going to have some nights non-lucid.. I mean, it would be a great idea if you already knew you were going to have a lucid dream when you sleep in that particular place. Only then might it work as a trigger for LDs does that make sense? Its kinda hard for me to explain lol sorry xD

I think I get what you mean Desert Claw. If you don't have LDs when you sleep in that bed, it'll weaken the chances of LDs because your mind associates the bed with regular dreams...right? Hm. That might be a flaw with it. I still think this method will increase my chances though.
