Just write them down and date them accordingly, but if you mean you remember dreams from like years ago then I'd say make a small section for those few dreams from long ago that are undateable.
When you write them down and include all the details you can remember, it will help you to remember future similarities between your dreams, in turn, helping you to know whether you are dreaming or not.
I agree with Simplicity0. It definitely couldn't hurt at all to write down some of your old dreams. It would help you out with making comparisons to your current dreams and help your recall some more.
What the others said - the more you record, the more you will understand your dreams.
But it's your DJ, so do with it as you please. If you have a whole lot of them, maybe it'd be better to make a separate section for the sake of organization. In my case I could only remember a few, so I just put them all in an entry in my DJ.
Hope this helps.
