How do you raise your awareness in a dream?

I have recently been having many dreams in which I have seen several dream signs as well as impossible things but I did not even notice. In one dream recently, I had the strange paralysis feeling when I was being attacked by a stingray, I encountered the Queen in the dream and I also pulled off my head and started to look at it. On top of this, in part of the dream I was thinking about lucid dreaming, but still I did not think to check if I was in a dream.

Does anyone know how to become more aware in your dreams, so that if I see these sorts of things I may do a reality check?

The best way to do so is to basically reality check in your day to day life, and don't stop doing that. You're wanting to increase awareness in your dreams, so another good thing to do would be to increase your awareness in waking life. Just take some moments out of your day to do a reality check, question reality, and pay attention to little details around you that you wouldn't normally pay attention to. Keep at it, and you should start to notice these things in your dreams. Hope that helps. ^^
