DILD Help
Hey guys!
I'v been practicing DILD for about 2-3 weeks now. I think I'v been doing "quality" RCs. I look around to see if anythings odd, look at numbers or sentences and then look away and back to see if they change, make a conclusion if I'm dreaming or not, and then plug my noise to see. I'v been keeping a semi-crappy DJ and do WBTB every night, sometimes I fall to sleep after my alarm goes off though. Over the past week I will see somthing in my dream and think to myself "that doesn't seem right" or somthing along those lines, but nothing comes from it. Last night, I remember a fragment of my dream were I asked myself if I was dreaming and I did an RC that showed it was dreaming (its really cool when you can breathe in for the first time!). I don't remember what happend after that. So I was just wondering if anyone else has gone through these stages and if I'm close or anything!
Thanks for reading my long post!

Yes, that's pretty normal. People usually start to dream about lucid dreaming right before their first lucid dream, so yeah, you're really close!
You'll have one tonight!! :D

Doing RCs is good, and also looking around and noticing details. The essential thing to this is to ask yourself if you dreaming. For that moment, you should really consider that you are in a really realistic LD. If you interested, here is a collections of all things that you could do to get you a DILD.

Thanks Gab! I will check that guide out.

I would also suggest, in addition to that list, paying more attention to the details for your DJ, or spending time after a dream to commit elements to memory. Having good recall and paying attention to the details really makes a difference in any successful LD attempt. It'll help you recognize those dream signs and be more likely to become alert when you encounter them.
WBTB is a good method.

Seems like you're getting close to a lucid. Keep doing what you're already doing and you'll have one before you know it :cheeky:
