If you maintain a sleeping schedule, it won't really matter when you sleep. What matters is simply that your sleep is consistent, waking up and falling asleep around the same times each day. If your sleeping schedule, or pattern, is inconsistent, you are in my experience much less likely to remember your dreams, and remembering your dreams is one the most important components of attaining lucidity.
It all depends on what you're used too. If you normally go to bed at a half decent time and suddenly you're going to bed at 6am then nothing positive will come out of it. You want to maintain a regular sleep schedule when attempting to lucid dream so you can learn your sleep cycle patterns. Many people will tell you that you need to sleep for a bit before you dream. If you start messing with your sleep schedule it will be incredibly difficult to figure this out.
Of course some people find going to bed later positively affects their attempts and everyone's different. So although I wouldn't recommend staying up that late for obvious health reasons as long as you can maintain a persistent sleep schedule it won't hinder your efforts too much.
It depends how long you sleep. I don't think the time you fall asleep affects your dreams that much, it's how long you sleep. If you are falling asleep at 6:30 and waking up at 9... that is bad for lucid dreaming. The longer you sleep the more dreams you are going to have which increases your chances of getting lucid.
Like Marvo said, if you have an inconsistent schedule when falling asleep...that doesn't help.
Okay, well last night I went to sleep at 2 pm and woke up at 10 pm. My sleep schedule is very inconstant but i always get alot of sleep. Is this okay?
