WILD symptoms - on the right track?

I've been practicing WILD for the past few days and i was hoping someone could shed some light on my experiences with it.

1) I'm trying to do it in the afternoon (nap). Is it easier for some reason in the morning?

2) I can easily begin to have hypnotic imagery. I can passively watch things happen, but it's very difficult because everytime I remind myself to stay lucid, I get "sucked" back into my normal conscious self. How can I stay lucid?

3) I have meditated many times in the past with AMAZING results and feelings. During this, my eyes twitch rapidly (like REM) but I'm still conscious. The same thing has been happening as I attempt to WILD. Any ideas what this could be?

WILD is easier for most after sleeping during the night because your mind more readily reverts to REM cycles after you've been asleep for several hours, rather than after (or before) a short afternoon nap. Not everybody will find it easier this way, but most do.

Well, try not to remind yourself actively that you need to stay lucid, try to make it more passive. You can't actively think without disturbing HI, so it's difficult to stay awake during this period. Some say that repeating "I am lucid" or something similar will help to avoid this because the chant becomes a subconscious act after a while, with little to no conscious thought involved. Personally, repeating anything just makes me fall asleep faster, but whatev...

Lastly, this sounds like you're pretty much there. I've never had my eyeballs twitch, but vibrations are one of the signs to look out for, so it could just be that.

i can get imagery very easily, in like 2 minutes. But I cannot stay lucid. Same thing happened last night. I'll try chanting but my girlfriend might think it's a bit strange.

And I took about 100mg of B-6 last night. I think it really worked, I can remember very fine details about my dreams. cool stuff.

lol you dont chant out loud, you chant in your head like a mantra. Unless your GF has mind reading powers then it wont be a problem for her

A tip on the B6--don't use it more than once or twice a week. First, if your body becomes accustomed to it, it won't have quite so dramatic effects. Second, if you take in the area of 200 mg a night on a daily basis for more than a week, you stand a chance of damaging your nervous system.
I don't want to scare anybody away by this, but using it once a week or so is usually best for top results, and if you only take it once or twice a week at a dose between 100 and 200 mg, then you'll be fine. Not many people ever experience side effects of B6, and usually it's because they took doses high above the norm, say 500 mg, on a regular basis for more than a week or two. It's just a better safe than sorry thing.
