Mock Reality Tests?
Okay, So I meditate every night for about 30mins to an hour and while I meditate ill do maybe 1 or 2 "mock reality check" is what I like to call them. So while i'm meditating and ill imagine i'm in a dream like ill put myself in a forest or somewhere bizarre and imagine i'm walking through the place, where ever i put myself. Then ill stop and imagine i'm doing a reality check or as I like to call it dream test, So I imagine I pass all of my dream tests while meditating and pretend I just figured out I was lucid. So its more like a realistic dream test. then I just stop and go back to meditating then do it again. Does this sound like it would be effective at all if you even understand what im trying to explain, thanks!

This is sort of similar to what I do where i do a reality check and imagine if it had failed and I was dreaming what it would do. If you do this then imagine acting upon some urge, for example doing the dream test then imagining you went flying within the "dream". Doing this will allow you to have subconscious goals in mind when you are dreaming. When I first got lucid dreaming I didnt have any idea what to do in the dream so it would end very quickly even after stabilization. Many say to set goals before becoming lucid so YES this is great and will help once you become lucid. I hope you could understand this.

This is a big part of how Laberge teaches MILD. You imagine yourself doing reality checks, and becoming lucid. He suggests you use the most recent dream you can remember. Walk through the dream again, this time imagining yourself reality checking and becoming lucid.
