Do ambient noises affect lucidity?

Hi,

I have an air filter in my room that makes a constant noise. The noise never bothers me in any way, and I usually never notice it. I actually prefer it to complete silence because I have tinnitus (ringing in the ears). I recently started lucid dreaming for the second time. The first time it took me a month to achieve lucidity and this second time it took me 2 weeks. After starting this second time I had 4 lucid dreams in the first month and I have just started the second month with 1 lucid dream. I was wondering if my air filter had any effect on lucid dreaming. I guess I don't really have a reason to think that it would, and this may be a dumb question, but I figured if anyone had any idea about this they could post.

i dont think it would affect you. if your trying to WILD it might help you keep your mind quite
