I've become quite good at bringing myself into a state of sleep paralysis. I have a meditative system where I start at my feet and focus on "removing consciousness" from each part of my body until I am completely numb. My question is, what next? I just lay there, feeling heavy as lead. I still have my consciousness, but it seems I always fall asleep without becoming lucid. What's the next step?
When you are in SP, do you experience any imagery/hallucinations? If so, you can use it to transition into the dream. If you don't get any imagery, you can create your own with some imagination. When you successfully transition into the dream while maintaining your consciousness, then that's it! You're in the lucid dream.

also when your in real sleep paralysis your already in rem and a dream has already formed, if not, its not sleep paralysis. Ive learned.
If you are really in SP then you are already in the process of entering a dream. If you are in SP then nothing more needs to be done. You'll transfer into a dream automatically if you just relax.
I'm quite sure what you are experiencing is not sleep paralysis. It sounds like you're still very much awake.

Btw like others have stated by the time you have entered SP you should be completely immersed in the dream world, what you are actually experiencing is called NREM.
