so im lying still listening to binaural beats and im seeing ally these wierd patterns go across my usually dark eyelids then all off a sudden i got a huge rush of energy and my eye lids went white and my heart started beating really fast and i jus jolted out of it! am i close to full sp and this whole time my body felt pretty numb..... am i close?
The weird patterns are called hypnagogic images. You can also hear sounds occasionally (hypnagogic sounds) as you are drifting off. Usually I feel vibrations before SP but that's just me.

You might be closer than you even need to be. During the Wild process one can transition to a dream state anytime during it. Even if you havent seen imagery or heard noises. Heres a good wild guide for transitioning. Instead of focusing on SP you should focus on the dreamworld. You were there! Stick with it. Even if you get startled, don't give up. It is just a sign that you are on the right track. Keep it up, and it should happen again. Sometimes it takes a few rounds of strangeness for the dream to kick in.
