I have lucid dreams pretty often in my opinion, a few a week. When I'm in a lucid dream, I sometimes sit down, or stand up or walk around or do whatever, but while I'm doing this, I try to remember the feel of it. I often become lucid merely because I've trained myself to know the feel of a dream, the gravity of most of my dreams, my average physical ability in non-lucid dreams, knowing the feel of how I move and stuff.
I'm pretty sure this works, awareness is the best RC around. I guess you could combine it with an in-dream dreamjournal. Not for reading purposes, since dream-text tends to act wierd. The reason would be telling your dreamself that recognizing the lucid state is important:).

Hey! It's nothing fancy or so, works the same way as any basic WILD. In short;Quote:

* Relax fully, if not relaxed; tense every muscle...release...repeat.
* Clear mind from thoughts and scratch every itch beforehand.
* (Yawn if you haven't, simulate a fake yawn till you do.)
WILD (In my opinion the attempt starts at this point)
* Close your eyes, if you haven't. Start the gradual falling asleep, keeping the mindset through the process.
* Maintain state, scratch if needed, swallow if needed, roll if needed. Don't address your physical actions mentally.
* Maintain state, meaning don't add any mental hooks. This may cause trance, dont worry you will snap out of it:).
* Maintain state, Let the dream come to you, don't wait or search. This may cause SP. Also dont worry, SP is actually LD:).
I think that's all of it. As you see the WILD itself is quite a passive process of falling asleep while maintaining state (mindset). The only thing actually done is (looking) far into space, while fixing issues without mentally adressing them. It may be harder than it sounds or it may not be hard at all:). If your mind is set beforehand it will be a lot easier.
Note that i did/had my first WILD 16 years ago. This means that i have had time to make almost every mental mistake around. That's how i learned.
