preREM WILD, wierd feeling in head is this normal?

i was trying wild lastnight and after about 10 minutes my eyes started to REM. i got pretty excited and opened them

so i closed them again and got ready do redo it. my eyes almost started to REM again but didnt quite make it. i did notice however that i could feel something like moving around in my head, or like it was slowly vibrating or spinning. it felt like it was right behind my nose or maybe having something to do with my sinuses or wisdom teeth coming in. as wierd as this all felt i stuck with it until my arms went kinda numb and my jaw kinda felt locked up a bit. i tried pushing my tongue through my head to see if i could maybe move my dream tongue yet but no dice. my eyes felt like they were ITCHING to REM again, but didnt. NOW when i push hard on my sinuses i can feel my head feel much better than it even does now. it either has something to do with my sinuses/teeth teething or i am slowly merging my conscious with my dreamstate!!!! i doubt it though because i can pretty much feel the same sensation now its just not moving around like during the WILD. and it feels REALLY good when i push on my face outside my nose...oooo yes teething

so i kept trying to wild lastnight but it just wasnt happening for me so i just let myself fall into sleep.

any tips for getting past this state? i didnt see any ACTUAL HI images (besides very active blobs quickly moving all around) but i heard real HS during this process....

It seems that you were on good way to WILD

Now first of all stop analyzing the situation your in when trying to wild, dont become excited and dont rush it with trying to get into dreamstate. Trying is the oposit of what you are trying to archieve and will only wake you up.

If you notice something at all just ignore it, just keep on doing whatever technique or just seeing into the dark. Keep conscious and with a little experience with WILDing you will know when the right time comes.

Your getting the hang of this are'nt you?

if started REM after 10 minutes is getting the hang of it i would say... yes lol

so what your saying is to just keep looking and suddonly i will be in a dreamscape? like at that point if i stuck with it for maybe up to an hour more even it might have worked? is the eyes going into REM a neccesary part of WILD? or is that just something that is affirming to my personal WILDs. im sure i could come about the answer on my own in time but would rather know ahead of time so i can maybe do it tonight for sure! the sooner the better

p.s. i honestly think that the hemisync mp3 put my mind in the right mode. before i used it i had no HI blobs and completely forsook any attempt at WILD. i havnt used it yet to induce an LD (i want to try it again when i get my mp3 player though). i just prep my mind with it a few minutes before hand. each time i have done this ive noticed WILD starting remarkably sooner than previous attepts (no i dont secretly work for hemisync)

Congratulations jay dawg. Keep at it. It takes time for some people.
I am in the same boat you are in. I get far, but don't know how to enter dreamworld consciously either.

Jammy, you said to ignore the strange things. Not to analyze them. I read from somebody else's experience that he/she actually went along with the images. I guess it varies from person to person in that sense?

As regarding your eyes jay dawg--that is a natural occurance of WILD. It also occurs with hypnosis. Just ride with it. Trust me. I am just like you with analyzing and it kind of scared me too and it broke the 'trance.'

Either you will suddenly find yourself in the dream or you will see the dream scenario build up bit by bit. Its a very sublte state. I bet you have experienced it. To much attachment to what is happening will cause you waking up... to little will cause you going to sleep. It like you have to be there but at the same time dont.

Ive experienced that REM activity some times so i know how hard it is to ignore ....
But usualy i dont notice them. So i guess it variates from person to person... and maybe even from session to session.

Yeah and they are completely right. I meant ignoring the side effects of WILDing, so to say. Like if you feel the vibrations dont go "wuhu! i made it to the vibrations... oh theyr so strong... this is so.....what was that... something touching my leg"

Up to a certain point you will get awake by yourself and experiencing either a void, the dreamscenario builiding up or just being in the scenario. This is a tricky subtle state.

Are you right! I personally start to anaylze and then start to wake up. I earnestly try to relax. Go with the flow. But then I wake up as I tell myself to relax

Like if you feel the vibrations dont go \"wuhu! i made it to the vibrations... oh theyr so strong... this is so.....what was that... something touching my leg\" *

      LMAO
      That's me!
      Okay. I will ignore!!

      Thanks so much Jammy.
