Trouble going lucid

Well guys I'm new to this site and im sure you have heard this a million times but I am having trouble becoming lucid in my dreams. I have been trying for about 2 months now. I have tried just about every technique ive seen online so far. I have an alarm that wakes me up at the end of my rem sleep so I can keep tracks of my dreams in my dream journal and I have suprisingly became pretty good at remembering my dreams now. I have been able to wake my self up from 3 nightmares and have went back in to the same dream by thinking about it twice now just havent been able to become aware in my dreams yet. Ive found I have the most success at remembering my dreams and they are the most vivid when I wake up at around 7 and go back to sleep and wake up around 10:30 I usually remember 2 or 3 dreams quite vividly. Just wondering if I could get some help maybe new techiniques from some people who are experienced with ld'ing already.

That is pretty bloody impressive to me! It also shows that you have some form of awareness when you are dreaming.
My only advice is just keep up the good work. :)

Try CAT(Cycle adjustment technique) I have been using a slightly modified version of it since school started and every Saturday I have gotten lucid. Otherwise I would suggest working on awareness. Those are what have been working for me lately so maybe they can help you too.

I actually tried CAT for about 2-3 weeks with no success really. And thank you therealtenman I appreciate it.

How long have you spent on each technique? Maybe it wasn't long enough. If you tried every technique in 2 month, I bet that's the case. Have you paid enough attention to daytime awareness and to intent? I think these two important components are understated in some tutorials.

I would pick one technique, DILD, if I may suggest. Just because it's the easiest one to start with. Later on, when you have a few of them under your belt, you can add WILD. If you like, check out classes in DV Academy.

If you have a chance to sleep till 10:30 am, WBTB is a powerful technique that works really well, especially in early morning hours. Try getting up 90 min before yur normal waking time, stay up for 90 min, do 10 min of MILD and take a 90 min nap.

Moved to Attaining Lucidity

Congratulations, you've done most of the hard work already and have gotten further than most people ever do who decide to try LDing. :)

All you need now is something to provoke a realization within the dream that you're dreaming. For some reason it rarely occurs to most people that they're dreaming, no matter how strange the situation is. To overcome that you need to bring the thought of lucid dreaming into your dreams. It isn't likely that you'll randomly think "hey maybe I'm dreaming" while in a dream, since you're too intensely preoccupied with whatever is going on in the dream, so you need to somehow increase the chances that those dream events themselves will remind you to consider you might be dreaming (DILD).

Work on your daytime awareness. Do reality checks while awake if you aren't already so that you have a better chance of considering you might be dreaming while you really are. You dream about what you did during the day, so try to think about lucid dreaming, go online and look up LDing stuff, read other people's dream journals in which they have lucid dreams, imagine what it would feel like if you were to have one, etc. before going to bed. It has a better chance of working if you don't feel like you're forcing yourself to do it. Becoming genuinely excited about it will ingrain it deeper into your subconscious.

The easiest method I know is DEILD (Dream exit) . This takes a little patience and discipline. Wait for a a dream to wake you up up early (that's the patience part and might take weeks) then stay perfectly still and visualize that very dream as you drift back off to sleep... all the while remembering your intent to be conscious in the coming dream.
