Take a random time out of the day, say, every hour, and just BE there. Hear, see, feel, all of it at once. Really notice the details, look for the fine things you would never usually notice. This only has to last about five minutes for each practice 'session.' This should boost not only dream awareness, but waking awareness too, dream recall, concentration skills, and it is applicable to a whole bunch of other things that I can't even think of.

also, don't do it too much, because it will become really mentally exhausting.
