Lunesta + Lucid Dreaming = perfect? because they said that Lunesta puts you sleep shortly after you take it(even if you are a insomniac  )...so if you think about LDing after you take it...will it raise the chances of having a LD?

I think I heard somewhere that drugs mess up your lucid/dreaming...not entirely sure on that though.
drugs can mess up ur chances to remember dreams and to even have any...Vitamin B6 i take sometimes, but that even messes up my dream recall..i dont remember alot of dreams when i am on it...i have more "No dreams" then i do VIVID dreams...so, but it works different for other people
but yah, drugs will effect you...
Whats Lunesta?A sleeping pill?Quote:

Hehe, drugs affect your mind and motivation more then your body. Very few drugs take away your ability to dream. Those are mostly psychiatric drugs specifically designed to do so.Quote:

While you are taking some drugs, try "searching" your mind for the signs of dreams. A radio station analogy might help: if you always listen to one station and one day you turn the radio on and there's static. What will you do? One person will say "omg, I cant listen to this station anymore ! Waaaaa Waaaa  :D " While another person will try to tune around and find another station.
Dreaming works in a very similar way... just try that...
Yo, Ev
there is a criket in my basement...anyway
your radio analogy sounds very unique and interesting, although i cant quite interpret its meaning, perhaps you could provide me with more details or a better explaination.
Believe me i want to understand it!!!
It's pretty simple. While under the effect of drugs, your dream memory might be altered or stored in a slightly different memory location. Put some effort and you'll be able to recall these memories...
An example: vitamin B6 makes your dreams more vivid. Initially they are much harder to recall, and you might think the you are not dreaming at all. However after some time you will be able to adjust and recall them.
*IF* you are interested in the lunesta, try taking GABA about 30 minutes before bedtime and see if that works for you. Lunesta changes the chemical regulation of GABA in the brain, by activating an increased secretion of the naturally occuring amino acid. It is very mild and is vitually the most natural prescription med in terms of the mechanics of the drug. It should not negativley affect your dreams, however, if you have no trouble sleeping, lunesta will ensure that you have trouble waking.
Ok ev so your saying that the memory location is like the tuning frequencies on a radio dial, and instead of being confused by static one should tune the frequency of ones memory to access the correct memory of the more vivid dream. Thus you could say that the vividness of memory can be aquinted to the frequency of a tuning dial?
Have I got it right Ev?
Lunesta is not really a drug that induces sleep. It is a drug that stimulates the GABA receptors in your brain that are responsible for inducing sleep. Lunesta is supposed to be the mildest sleep aid ever introduced. I have read reports that it is even more mild than valerian root.
If you get a script for it, please post results.
