its like i'm in between wake and dreaming sometimes. if i try and make myself have a dream. its so very confusing. i'm aware of my waking body, and my dream body. kind of like a day dream. but i am trying to go back to sleep

You just have too much awareness. You have to allow yourself to fall asleep.
