Dream self too doubtful?
Ok so I noticed a bit of an issue I have. Whenever I am lucid, it's so realistic I am worried my dream could actually be reality.. so then I worry about how my actions could actually have consequences if I happened to be wrong and it was real life.
The vividness is too realistic, and I am too doubtful of a person, to be sure it's a dream. Even if I was to fly, or survive a very high fall, I have these doubts >.>

This happens to me too. I've learned to occasionally do a quick reality check to re-assure myself that I am dreaming. Like, before jumping out a window, I'll do a quick nose pinch just to be sure. You can also enjoy a lucid dream by doing realistic things. Engage DCs in conversation. Ask them questions. This may lead to some remarkable insights.

My biggest fear that I had to overcome was the feeling that I might have died. However, after many LD's with this fear I finally came to the conclusion that if I am dead.... then death isn't so bad (as weird as that sounds) . Over time these fears will leave you.

I've done this trick too, but it seems to focus me too much on the action itself, and I lose lucidity that way. I am much more a fan of trying to change your environment, such as turning a light on or off.
