Question (2) about ADA
I just want to ask this. How often should I do ADA? I am new to this and I feel that if don't focus I don't care about my surrounding (Like I don't notice things not like I am coldblooded :) ).
Also I don't know if I actually completely get a principe of ADA. Well what I do now is that I stop doing everything and I stand in the center of my room looking over it like looking on my bed, wardrobe, computer, school things and I am trying to focus on it one by one and catch a details of them. Am I supposed to do this? Please somebody give me some advices. Also what I mentioned how often should I do ADA? Because right now I am all into LDing so I think about it like 70% of time and I am like: "Hmm Am I dreaming? I should do reality check or ADA", but I found it kinda anoying for me, because I somehow managed to say this like every 30-60 minutes, but also I am like: "Man, I don't want to do RC or ADA now, but what if I will slack on it now and my brain is going to be sc*mbag and will just stop doing RC or ADA in the dream" (sorry for my English. I know It's not perfect and it is chaotic).
Thanks for advices

I don't think thereīs an optimal definition of ADA. everyone has its own attentional style
when you feel engaged in the present moment, relaxed and confident you are doing it correctly.
donīt feel like your wasting your time and energy. are you ready to live in the present moment ? this is the most important step. reflect on these questions and you are already doing ADA ;)

Aaah, so I am doing it right (probably). Thanks :)

For me, ADA is when you are aware of your surroundings at specific moments of the day or all day long. I think the point of ADA is that when it becomes an habit it translates into your dreams and you become aware that you are dreaming. If you are not getting results immediately, don't be frustrated. It takes a bit a time, practice and energy for it to become an habit, so if you are not getting any results it will pay off sometime soon.
The point of RCs is to make you question reality. You should RC when something strange happens or do it in a systematic way, like every time you brush your teeth. You should also RC every time you wake to prevent false awakenings (or actually to realize it's a false awakening and get a lucid dream!).
Also, your english is fine :). A lot of people here are not native english speakers, like me, so don't be worried about that.
I hope This will help you,
Simon

Thanks Simon. I do RCs randomly. I had an alarm clock setup to ring every hour, but I realized that when I do it like this I don't give it enough attention. For ADA I think I got it now :)

When I used to practice ADA, I used to do it the same way you're doing it. I would stop what I was doing and try focus on everything, like see everything that's in my field of vision and notice the little things, e.g. the shadows of certain objects or the pattern of the carpet. I would also try to engage all my other senses. So, if I was sitting down I would notice how the sofa cushion beneath me feels and notice how I breathe.
I suggest that you keep at it and eventually you'll start seeing results. Heck, if you believe fully in your abilities you could see results straight away! Hope this helped
