What is more likely to ruin your attempt is when you get worried about moving, so that's all you focus on. You suppose to be as relaxed as when you going to sleep normally. You are not worried about moving then, right? And yet yu still fall asleep, even if you moved.
Things may go faster if you don't move. When you know that if you need you can move, you may not even need to move that much. But if you think you not allowed to move, everything will itch and be uncomfortable and all you can think about is your physical body.
So say to yourself "if I need to scratch, swallow, or move, I can do that". Then just relax and let your body go to sleep, while you keep your mind awake to the right point, when your mind needs to fall asleep as well.
