In my recent lucid dreams I somehow noticed that the waking life and the dream life are much more closely related to each other than I previously thought.... well it sounds kind of obvious and I should have known it earlier, but somehow the more lucid dreams I have the more I notice how incredibly thin this border between dream and waking life is. |

Saying there is no alien life in the universe is like dipping a cup in the ocean and saying there are no whales.

Thanks. |

I always attain some kind of awareness that I am in dream like something telling me deep inside my head. Then I just make sure with RC. |
|
RCs don't work for me because when I first suspect I'm lucid that's enough to be sure and the RCs happen automatically just by observing typical dream events such as luminosity variation, bizarre things, quick changes and so on. Actually RCs usually disturb relaxation and the natural flow of the dream and usually wake me up. |
|
@Playlaughdream Yeah same with me. whenever I suspect that I might be dreaming I mostly already know for sure... I usually do something like checking my hands to be sure. Another proof that it's all about the awareness and not the RCs |

Thinking that you could be sleeping isn't a complex or original idea, it's what you should incorporate into your RCs from the very beginning! The wonder of the fact that this could very well be a dream raises your awareness to a level that you will be able to notice all the little things, even subconsciously, that point out it could be a dream and you move on from there. |
