So, I have ADD, and I have very bad recall (but I just started like a week ago). When I go back to America and public school, I'm going to take prescription drugs for my ADD. Does this hinder or help?

Considering that not many people here may have ADD you might have to try it out for yourself, e.g. seeing if you can recall less dreams/have less vivid dreams.
Try asking your doctor what side effects it will cause, thats probably your best shot.
I am actually a sufferer of ADHD and take medication for it. (Not Ritalin but Concerta)
because the type of medication I take is slow release I only take these tablets in the morning and by the time I go to bed it has MOSTLY worn off. Although if I have taken them later in the day and they haven't worn off, I don't notice a difference. But that's me, you may different.
Thanks yall.
What medication is it?
I have ADHD but I don't take medication. ADHD definitely hasn't hindered my dream life. However, I don't know if medication would affect that.
I used to be on concerta in elementary school and straterra in junior high. It made me feel so unlike myself. Some people, like my brother, really need it to help them focus. So don't be alarmed. Concerta wears off like the other person said, so it shouldn't affect your dreaming. I don't know about straterra, it was so long ago. But I did have a lot of disturbing dreams in middle school. And I had my first lucid dream, trying to escape from a nightmare, in middle school. If that helps at all.
Doing a quick google search on the medication you're taking and dreaming might give some info as well.
@starletdreamer: It's Aderol. Don't freak out, it's not addictive, and I will only be taking the prescribed amounts.
@lumiina: Good to know. Thanks.
