I wake up before my alarm every morning and I have to get up every morning (Saturday and Sunday even). You need to go to sleep earlier and keep a better sleep schedule on the weekends. LDing for me used to be harder on the weekdays because I would have a great sleep schedule all week and it would kick in on the weekend, and since I wouldn't sleep well on the weekend it would make the week dreams suck. Now that I sleep 6-8 hours every night, it doesn't matter weekday or weekend. :)
I get up as if i have an inbuilt alarm. If I go back to sleep, I have a backup alarm. I sleep at proper time in the week. I get about 1 ld in 2 weeks mostly.
I don't go to school anymore but when I did I use to have a lucid dream more or less every night. School helped because it gave me a stable sleeping schedule that I could work my lucid dreaming around.
I have a lot of very demanding crap to deal with at my university right now, like physics reports and upcoming exams, so I haven't really felt relaxed enough to practice lucid dreaming for any extended amounts of time lately.
I did have a short lucid dream a couple nights ago though, it was one of those dreams were I was outside somewhere and kind of felt that something was suspicious, and then I became lucid one second before I started to wake up. :shadewink:
Download an alarm that lets you choose a peaceful tone and have it increase in volume every few seconds. It'll help.
I work 16 hour days and sleep about 6 hours per night yet can still remember a lot of dreams. It's possible.
