Simple way to do WBTB?
Can someone please explain in full detail but in a simple way how to do the WBTB technique?
- When do I wake up?
- What do I do when I wake up?
- Do I stay up for at least 20 mins just like most of the tutorials?
- What do I do in the time I'm awake?
- When I go back to sleep, do I do some other induction technique like MILD or WILD?
- Is WBTB an easy and/or common way to induce lucid dreams?
- If you've had an LD with this technique, give me your personal experience with WBTB and how you managed to make it successful in inducing LDs.

hi there (:
-you wake up anywhere between 4-6 hours of sleep(best recommended)
- When I awake I usually write down any dreams I've had, use the restroom, and read on this site for awhile (reading about LDING helps improve your chances of having one that night)
-you can stay up from anywhere between 5 minutes to an hour (: (this ranges differently for everyone, you have to be tired enough to go to sleep easily but awake enough to stay conscious , do what you think feels best)
- see question 1
-you don't have to sense your already pretty relaxed sense you were just asleep, but I usually do some sort of meditation technique, a few breathing exercises, visualization, and recite a few mantras in my head or out loud.
- WBTB is a very easy and common way to have a lucid dream! in fact atleast everyone I know on this site uses it.
- I have not had my first LD yet but I know a crap ton about it! the closest I've gotten was seeing myself enter the dream but I focused on it to much and I woke up lol , besides everything I know was taught to me by the best, one of those people on this site go by the username "MasterMind"
So I hope I helped you in anyway possible (:
Happy Dreaming!
