Going to bed naked = Less Lucid Dreams

I found this out yesterday. I use to go to bed with no clothes on (hey... stop... focus on what I will tell, and try not to imagine me naked)...

When I wear clothes, the next morning I wake up more rested, and remember more LDs.

Two days ago, I decided to wear a pijama when I was going to bed. Two days in a row I had LDs, after some kind of dry spell.

Maybe, when I'm with no cloth, I wake up many times in the night (and do not remeber that in the morning), because of some cold wind on my back, or whatever. And when I'm wearing something that keeps me from waking up all night, I have more deep sleep and consequently more LDs.

Have any of you experienced something similar?

      Please, comment.

Lol this reminds me of the part in "Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind" when he wakes up with pajamas on and kind of freaks out

Lol I always wear boxers and a shirt, if not I go crazy.

nope, I say completely irrelevant. I occaciosanaly sleep in the nude and actually recently, I have been listening to holosync meditation demo tracks before going to bed, which could cause a change, but I the three or four nights I slept in the nude that week I had multiple lucid dreams, dream recall was up, and dream awareness just at a much higher rate.

It could change for people, or if your thinking about it could affect you subconciously, but I say no difference one way or the other. this has a been a really long topic, and mostly it leans the other way that sleeping naked raises your awareness. If you continue to experiment report back what you find.

I'm kinda the same way - I don't need a shirt, but if there ain't nothing keepin my unit together I just get uncomfortable.... well.... and horny. A strange combo to deal with when you're trying to fall asleep.

I don't get it. How would the amount of deep sleep affect in the number of LDs? LDs don't occure during REM, not deep sleep. I've also understood that waking up doesn't interrupt your sleep cycle, and that's what WBTB is based on.

I always sleep with my underpants (short). Nothing more, nothing less.

I must say I love sleeping nude. Sleep is the only time of the day where people don't have eyes on you....At the end of the day you can finally relax how you were intended to be.......naked.
.......Then I think of my youth and of my first love-when the longing of desire was strong. Now I long only for my first longing. What is youth? A dream. What is love? The substance of a dream.

Awhislyle, props on mentioning the best movie ever made, Eternal Sunshine!

Maybe there is something to this wearing clothes and LDing thing. Hell, I wear SOCKS to bed, and I have great dreams. Maybe I should wear a parka and see what luck I have.
Never stop searching for truth. In your search you may think you have found it, and perhaps you have, but if you hold on tightly to a single thread it will fray and it's greater meaning will become lost. There is always more truth stretching deep beneath the surface that promises to reveal ever greater the infinite, interwoven fabric of truth, woven in the looms of Heaven.
