Visiting unfamiliar places while practicing Lucid Living/All Day Awareness

Have you ever tried this?
I often take walks around campus at my university, and sometimes at the university itself, and I often end up at places that I am not very familiar with - and I have noticed that this makes it much easier for me to be extra aware of my surroundings, and kind of pretend that I am in a dream.
I believe this is because the unfamiliar places feel new and unexplored, just like lucid dreams always do, so it becomes easier for me to feel a genuine excitement and curiosity over those places, which is very similar to the curiosity you feel during lucid dreaming.
What will be around the next corner?
What will I find behind that door?
And so on.
I would actually recommend it, I find it very effective.

So whenever you are somewhere unfamiliar, it would be a good idea to do reality checks and build that association.
Then in a dream, which very frequently occurs in unfamiliar places, you might be more likely to do a reality check.

I was thinking that today! Lately I dont go out to much and it is easier to practice ADA outside and places I don't know.

That is like the ultimate RC! Training your mind to RC whenever in unfamiliar territory, which is like every dream at some point haha.

When i used to do my own version of 'All Day Awareness' it was most comfortable in not previously analysed places.
If i'd do it in common place that i analysed lots of times like my room it felt quite dull,
Too bad i didn't have enough patience to practice my 'ADA' till it starts to work.

I had at first night a small glance at what 'ADA' induced lucid dreaming is like
I've gotten 2 - 3 lucid dreams without reason. 2nd barely remembered and 3rd just feeling that i had it (Should've slept longer :cheeky:)
First night success was probably side-effect of sudden addition of 'ADA' to daily life :yeah
