hi! i would like to adress a serious issue i've been having since i had my 1st two lucid Dreams:
ever since i had my 2nd Lucid Dream i've been experiencing some weird things in dreams and reality such as diziness in daytime and strange to no dreams during sleep time (being the camera of my dreams,dissasembled babies...etc)
and all that i couldn't do a single RC (i've induced the 1st two LDs with DILD and now i DIELD can't even get me a dream)
so...any suggestions?
I would say it just takes time to adjust, you say it's the first few times, I'm assuming that they were both recent? Continue how you were because it is clearly working. This could just be a phase when you adjust to the new 'skill' you've picked up. Over time you can learn to control / influence the dreams, so I wouldn't worry. Dream content is something I've read to be debated anyway so that's up to interpretation.
thanks for the answer but both of my Lucid Dreams were almost 4 months old (time seperating them is just a month) and had trouble maintaining them even with hands rub and spinning. + can your subconscious influence your new "skill" by preventing it or male it hard to achieve?

It sounds to me more like a psychological barrier. If you think that your mind is making having LDs harder, then it will in fact make them harder to achieve. If you think that achieving lucidity is easy, it will be easy. Dream stablization just takes time and practice. Your first few lucids will probably be quite short due to the excitment you will experience. With time and more lucids, you will find which grounding techniques work best for you. The key once becoming lucid is to slow down. Take time to observe your surroundings and really integrate each sense into the scene.
Try to use some mantras and really put out positive energy that you WILL have a lucid dream. It is all mind over matter. Lucid dry spells happen to everyone :) It is a completely normal occurence. Sometimes if you try too hard, it will actually worsen the problem. Sometimes taking a small break and then going back at it can cure the dry spell by itself. If that is the case, focus more so on dream recall instead of trying to attain lucidity.
Give more detail. You said you had a couple lucid dreams but since have had some odd experiences in waking life and dreaming. But what techniques are you using? Has anything changed in your life? Routine? Emotional state?
Honestly, I might not have an answer. But for you, I suggest zooming out and looking at the big picture and what has changed in your behavior. It may simply be that you need to be more diligent with your technique. It's typical to experience some weird dream or hypagogic experiences. It's also typical that lucid dreams are irregular and seemingly random at the beginning, despite a consistent effort. Keep at it.
