Some advice for DEILD
Hi! My dream recall has improved a lot recently and, since I seem to wake up numerous times during the night, I thought that it'd be a great opportunity to try for a DEILD.
I've done it numerous times when doing WILD in the past and only once by accident when coming out of a non-lucid dream, but I'd like to try and do it more regularly. I've read up on all the threads about it, but I'm having trouble getting the "waking up and staying still with eyes closed" bit right.
What would be the best way to kind of master that? Intention? Affirmations? :)

You could use auto-suggestion! :)
Try saying something to yourself like "I keep my eyes closed, when I wake up", before you fall asleep.

I personally find that if my sleep has already been disrupted (and therefore I am sleeping lightly), catching DEILD off of a NLD becomes much easier, simply because you are more aware. DEILDing from an LD is even easier because the awareness is already present.

I'm currently trying auto-suggestion, since that has worked well for me in the past in regards to recall.
I'm torn between which one to go with though:
"I realise I'm awake after my dreams and stay still"
"I realise when I'm waking from my dreams and stay still"
Which would be more effective in regards to DEILD? :)
