easier way to lucid dream?

hi all, im a beginner at LD, but i have a really good Dream Recall, so i wante to ask something, if you go to sleep really drowzy, is there any chance you will get a LD easier?
like, if i wait till it's 1 am (when you're really sleepy), then fall asleep, i suppose your gonna enter the REM state a lot faster ,right?

People who have been denied a REM cycle, will enter REM as soon as it can. If you went a day without sleep, sure, but I wouldn't recommend it unless it's on the weekends.
