How to utilize dream signs

Hi, ive searched high and low for an answer so im hoping someone can shed some light on this ... please :-)

I have 6 dream signs. These are: a certain person (lets call her louise), my dog, my old house, big bodies of water and hottubs

Now when I mild i would like to remind myself that if i see a dream sign then to remember to reality check.

As i fall asleep i mantr to myself

the next time i see louise, i reality check
the next time i see my dog, i reality check
the next time i see my old house, i reality check
the next time i see a lake or ocean, i reality check
the next time i see a hottub, i reality check

i then repeat the above until i fall asleep hoping that if one of those dream signs appear then i will remember to reality check using prospective memory

The problem is that it seems a lot to keep reapeating and what happens when i have say, another 5 dream signs???

Would a better mantra be something like 'next time i see louise, my dog, water, old house or hottub i reality check' ?

I hope someone can tell me how they 'utilize all of their dream signs in a mild - or maybe there a better way to 'lock' dream signs into prospective memory

Wow, I want to know that too... Lets wait for someone wiser together !
(something that will help too is to do a RC everytime you encounter the dream signs on waking life too)

I don't know about wiser, but there are 4 things I can think of at the moment to assist:

1. WBTB with focus on dream signs
2. Visualize the dream sign and imagine becoming lucid right after saying the mantra as you go to sleep
3. Try this mantra: The next time I see (dream sign), I (specific RC) look at my hands and realize I am dreaming.
4. Focus on one or two top dream signs that have been showing up recently.

It took me a while to get good at recognizing specific dream signs and if you stop putting attention towards them, the results seem to fade. Now I find it easier to recognize general dream signs like: dream only actions, boldness, dream thoughts.

Hi Fogelbise, can you expand on what you mean by 'general dream signs please, what you mean by 'dream only actions and boldness and give some examples. thankyou

dream only actions: taking an action in a dream to solve a problem that wouldn't be possible IWL. (floating up and over an obstacle…wait a minute! I'm dreaming!)

boldness: being bold, particularly with the ladies cues me in that I am likely dreaming, and an RC or something else confirms it.

dream thoughts: "if I were dreaming right now, I would…wait a minute!"
