I've spent lots of time attempting WILDs without success yet. I'm wondering if you remember what you did differently the first time you had a WILD. Thanks.

I'm trying it too... but I've been studying Sageous's class and working on it, so I'm sure it's just a matter of time now. :)
But, you know... if someone has a tip or something, I'm all ears. :chuckle:
Hi all, ive had about 10 successful WILDS and I realize a big mistake I made. When i first got into LD last April I the first resource I found was on 'world of lucid dreaming' I followed Rebecca Turners guide on there and had a wild the first night, and the second and the third!. Then i came to this forum and the amount of information was overwhelming, i read everything on WILDing and there is sooooooooooo much conflicting advice, i even saw videos on another website with a guy in a clinical white suit explaining things like the 'stop, drop and roll' technique. I overloaded my brain and more devastatingly altered my technique as I was influenced by all the other 'sure fire' techniques and methods.
I should have just stuck to what was working!!!!
I was unable to WILD for months afterwards and instead took to SSILD which is great
I am now WILD'ing again with success as I have gone back to what I know, i have learnt from my mistakes and the biggest error I made was trying everything i read
WILD'ing is very very very simple. I plan to do a tutorial with a twist soon.
A tip for now though - everyone had their opinions on the most important aspect of WILD'ing but this is what ive discovered .... The most important part of the whold WILD attempt is timing. If you can be laying down when you are close to REM then things will be so much easier!

Yes I do. It's when I had the courage to forget all the conflicting writings and practice what felt right to me. Make it personal and don't be afraid to face your own personal boogeymen. I've also written my personal method on the forum which you can find if you look over my posts. It's basically the same currently although my entry/exit? method has changed for one I find a little easier (I slide out the top of my head now). Oh hell let me find the link http://www.dreamviews.com/wake-initi...d-wilding.html
