I can usually manage at least one per morning, usually multiple. But that came with practice over years (been practicing for a little over five years, turning 21 in August). Honestly though I kind of feel like I've squandered my lucid dreaming potential. I have these periods of seriousness where I pursue increasing the clarity of my lucid dreams and the amount of dream control I can exert and all that. Then something happens and my mind gets taken off it. I'm hoping now to get my life kind of more settled and I can focus more on it. I just recently got back from military training so I haven't really practiced or kept a dream journal in about a year. So, I may be able to lucid dream close to everyone morning as of now but I have virtually no level of control. It's basically back to when I first started. I should be able to regain my skill though, here's hoping at least.
i began one month ago, i succesfully had 4 lucid dreams ;-)
I had some LDs here and there as a child, and my frequency without any practice is about one every few months, too.
When I practiced in my teens I reached a level of a couple "long and satisfying" LDs per week, but didn't keep a log so don't have the exact numbers.
My current practice started in Dec 2015. In March 2016 I had 13 LDs total (on 7 nights out of 31). This April seems to be my lucky month - within 8 nights I was lucid 3 nights, with a total of 8 LDs.
Thanks everyone!
That's fantastic.
I usually have about 2-3 LDs a month with minimal effort. When I try harder I can get a lot more, but I've been slacking a lot lately so I hope to get at least 2-3 a week soon.
I LD probably 7-14 times a week, but I LD probably 5 days a week. I have been LDing for almost 4 years on June 12. :D If you want to be consistent, you have to have a consistent practice every day and night. :)
My serious dedicated daily practice started a little over a year ago. I'm currently averaging just under one per day. I don't actually have LDs every single day, but when I have them I often have more than one in the sleep period (for instance, over the last month, I've had LDs in roughly half of my sleep periods, but there were about 26 or so of them total).
Depends on my sleep and waking life schedule. According to my DJ I average about 1 every 2.5 days. But on days where I sleep enough and don't have too much stress it's pretty much 100%.
I have had 4 to date. My first came without any real practice or prompting; the next was about a year/year and a half coming.
Since I started recording my dreams and reading on LD techniques about two or three months ago, I've had two. They were both short lived though, the first didn't last long and I forgot to silence my cellphone for the second and it woke me up -_-.
More often than not (75% of the time ATM) they come during my afternoon nap, so hopefully if I keep taking the nap I can have them more often!
That depends on how much I sleep, today I slept nearly 8 hours and got a total of 7 lucids recalled today.
Haha, feel free to PM me for any questions! :)
I actually am not though. Hukif right above you there isn't saying that as a one night thing. He gets about as many lucids as he does dreams. :P he has had about 15 years of practice on me though.
Fascinating! Do you have any consistent practices that you've used over the years to increase the length and frequency of your lucid dreams?
I make 1 lucid dream per months when I don't practice, but when I put effort I can go to 2 to 4 lucid dreams per months.
I lucid dream EVERY night. I discovered a very easy method which i have posted about all over these forums
@Ezzolucid: are you talking about the remdreamer + DEILD method? I have a remdreamer too but it's so uncomfortable that i can't sleep with the thing on and when I fall asleep, i wake up 1 hour later because it's uncomfortable. How do you deal with this?
I discovered LDing about 10 years ago, aside from one I had as a little kid. I took very long periods off, but now that I'm back into it it's become a lot more frequent. I definitely think that meditating consistently over all these years has had a fair amount to do with the increase. Since I started up again, I've been having ~10-12 a month. I started really practicing ADA within the past week though, and I've had 10 in the past 6 days. I'm starting to feel that awareness & mindfulness is really the central point for inducing LDs consistently - at least for my own practice. I'm just really grateful for the ADA thread on the site, and looking forward to improving!
Looked back and read some of your posts. I've been reading the phase and have just begun to put it into practice. I look forward to seeing amazing results.
