I know the common reason behind why W.I.L.D can be irritating as it causes you to miss quality sleep time and ofcourse getting used to egnoring the itches and saliva build up ect but has anyone got used to being able to do ot quiet well? Its too strong of a word to say mastered i suppose but im curious as i know alot aboit W.I.L.D which i may start practising alot more new my recall is better =)
Miss quality sleep time? I don't know who has been telling you that, but it is simply untrue. WILD is my primary method of lucid dreaming and I've had great success with it. More than with any other method, actually. In terms of both quantity and quality of lucids, it is the same as DILD and every other method out there and no more difficult to achieve. Ultimately, it is about finding the right method for you. Give it a try.

I've been using WILD/DEILD for decades and have had thousands of successful WILD dives, and missing quality sleep was never an issue. Also, since I started doing WILD's long before the acronym was invented and discussion of the noise that might accompany a WILD became popular enough to create, through expectation, a totally artificial barrier to successful WILDs, I for one have rarely had a problem with ignoring the things that happen on the way to the dream (things like HI, body issues, and REM atonia, all things that would have happened anyway, but you just happen to be there to witness them); they are simply not that important.
So you might want to look further into WILD (and DILD), because there might be things that you have been misinformed about... WILD is not about the noise or quality of sleep, but about nothing more (or less) than falling to sleep and entering a dream without losing your waking-life self-awareness.
