Recently about once a night I'll have a moment in my dreams where I just know it's a dream. I don't notice anything off or do a RC. I just somehow become aware that it's a dream. When this happens one of two things has happened. Either I wake up, or do nothing about it, and go on with the dream non lucid. Im asking for advice on getting from this slight moment of realization to a complete lucid dream. Any help is appreciated:)
do a RC in that Moment. Not to verify the dream state (you already know), but to make yourself realize that it REALLY IS dream. Positive RCs can be strong stabilizers.

Just before you go to sleep, imagine becoming lucid, remembering your dream goal, and achieving it. Rehearsing like this will help you be more prepared upon becoming lucid.
Technically, if you know it's a dream, then that is an LD.
Being engaged in the dream, lucid but able to control things is something I have struggled with. You have to somehow let the dream continue as if it's non-lucid, but casually interact without waking. You have to somehow engross yourself in the dream, but be aware enough to know it's a dream and control it. Easy!
Just a delicate balance that you have to learn, like walking on a tightrope.....
The problem is that I never really think to do an RC or anything. It's just a brief moment that's very hazy. I will visualize my self doing a RC before bed because I think it might help.
set intention to STOP next time you have this hazy feeling. stop, think about what that means and do a long deep nosepinch. having a concrete goal what you want to do with your lucid helps too!
Along with Dolphin's suggestion of visualizing yourself becoming lucid, I'd suggest using a mantra as you fall asleep. Something like, "I will do a RC next time I find myself in a dream"
It did occur to me that although you have that feeling of "just knowing it is a dream", you might be fooling yourself, i.e. It's all in the dream, including that feeling, and you are kidding yourself that there is conscious involvement. I have had that feeling a few times but concluded later that maybe I was fooling myself.
The problem is, if it's all in the dream, it's difficult to do the RC. As the others have said, set the intention to RC., and also set the intention that you will not believe that feeling and need to confirm it.
