What did you try?
I can only tell you what works for me if I don't know what you have done. :)
I write down, "Tonight I am going to have a lucid dream", maybe ten times, maybe more.
I really just keep doing it until it feels good and I am confident that it is going to happen.
While I am writing, I also imagine realizing that I am in a dream, and how it feels.
I let myself feel how it would feel to realize that I'm in a dream right now.
The more that I can feel the experience of realizing that I'm in a dream, the higher my chances of success!

If you're having trouble feeling like you're really in a dream when you imagine, try to imagine performing an RC or seeing something that proves, beyond a doubt, that you're dreaming, because there's no way it could happen in waking life.
If you're having trouble believing you'll become lucid, remember that if you've done it at least once, you'll do it again, sooner or later. And you never know when it could happen; it could be this very night.
