Wbtb with FILD Help
Hi guys,
Quick question. So I usually fall asleep around 11pm and wake up at 3am for my wbtb (I remember a dream from sleeping so I think it's okay to wake up then). I usually quickly jot down any keywords I remember from my dreams and get back in bed. The problem is, whenever I use wbtb, I can never fall back asleep. Even if I'm not focusing on sleep and keeping myself up, I still can't fall back asleep to induce my lucidity through the FILD method. Any suggestions or tips I should try to fall asleep easier after wbtb? It feels like I'm laying there for 30 minutes just not making any progress.
Thanks!

Do you use light during wbtb?
If you do: don't.
Also avoid any fast movements or anything that can accelerate your heart rate.
Also wbtb after 4h of sleep sounds a bit too soon to me.
You want to have had non rem sleep enough, especially deep n-rem sleep so that you will only have to deal with n-rem stage 1 and 2 and then rem stage.
If you wake up with a fuzzy/groggy state of mind, try to keep this feeling during the wbtb, you can also play with the wbtb length.
Fild is supposed to work if you are about to fall asleep during the next few seconds/minuts, and it will work only if a rem stage is very close.
So as the période between rem stages decreases during the morning, you'l have better chance in the very last hours of your sleep.
Good luck.

Kaan,
I appreciate the feedback! I'll give it a shot after 5-6 hours of sleep instead of 4. I also have now got Lucidimine in the arsenal so I'll be using that soon. I'll give you an update as the progress is made over the next couple of days.
Thanks!
