lately ive been able to look further and deeper, at will, into the blackness behind my eyelids. i would start to see something far away as if it was turning or moving. a small section of light it seemed. as i looked around, i would start to see sharp rainbow lines, like on a grid. they are very close together lengthwise and curve as well. i can actually see them plain as day. 8)
anyone seen this before
So this is when you are awake? If so, it's definately a skill you should try and master, it seems like your mental imagination is taking a big step forward. Can you control the images by any chance? I only once experienced this when I was awake, and that was when I was on mild substances. I read an article by one other guy who mastered mental visualization skills with decades of practice and gets similiar results (he's also an LDer though).
hmmm well yes while awake. like as soon as i got comfortable and relaxed. im actually kind of pissed, cuz i didnt see them lastnight, and the night before they were very faint. i know why though......its because while the power was out during the hurricane, i freaking hot high and now i cant see them and my recall isnt as good again damnit.
thats ok because i will just wait for them to come back, they came after being sober for 2 months i guess. i look forward to expanding on this. it was quite exciting to literally see them without being in trance though.
imagine how when you are looking into the blackness, how you can see blury black swirls or faint blury light images. well i was able to see those and then focus on them with my eyes and watch them solidify. it was cool
Oh gosh I see all sorts of things on the back of my eyelids lol...this isn't HI. HI only happens just before you enter a dream. Maybe if you were to lay still and continue to stare at this for awhile until you enter SP and such it will eventually turn into HI and draw you right into a lucid dream. But that would take awhile... ;)
hmm perhaps not. then what the heck was it? i saw them for a few seconds lastnight and they were so very faint. if they come back strong again soon, i hope to see what develops further.
