So you want to LD without changing anything about yourself? Not possible.
Imagine someone coming into a gym and saying "I can't play basketball because I can't dribble, shoot, pass, or play defense" and then leaving, this is like a gym for your mind! lol. You don't come here because you can lucid dream, you come here to learn how and to practice. Have trouble sticking with things? Then make a deadline, I will LD for 6 months and I can quit then, when you want to quit, just think "I will quit when those 6 months are over". Have trouble being discouraged? Well, I always say that one of the big differences between a child and an adult is that an adult does what he decides to do, while a child does what he feels like. Am I telling you to grow up? Maybe, maybe not. You might just be like this about hobbies and not other things in waking.
The WBTB is going to be your best friend while LDing, it raises awareness, presence, intent, attention, recall, and lets you bring those closer to your next dream sequences. I have yet to meet someone that LDs every night that doesn't wake up throughout the night, now this might be because during your LDs, you are "there" so when the dream ends you always notice the waking, but I think that it is both reasons. I recommend 4+ WBTBs a night.
Anything else I can say to you will be in this podcast:
