Is HI something that you see in your head, sort of like memories & imagined things. Or is it actually something you see staring into the black of your eyelids?
The most straightforward answer will be: you see it behind your eyelids. To the point where you may move your eyes around and you will see different parts of the HI.
However, there's nothing behind your eyelids, so when you see HI, you actually merge your real perception and your mind's image. Kinda like a hallucination.
HI can take many forms, most common one is just patterns behind your eyelids, kinda like a wallpaper. More sophisticated ones may involve actual spaces (kinda like looking through your closed eyelids)....
