Any ideas?
Iv come to realise that atleast 50% of my dreams are at places iv never seen before....so of course I haveto make a habit to ask where am I? Whilst in a dream.
I don't want to constantly ask myself throughout the day..where am I? Because I don't really go many places....If I asked myself 10-20 timetimss a day then it would be me saying 'at home' 15 times and maybe 'walking the Dogs around my area' 5 times a day.
Is there a better way or more fun way of doing this? Thanks =D

Maybe make a habit of asking it while you are anywhere that isn't home? That seems like it could work. Good luck! :)

I would simply make an auto suggestion like this, "anytime I am in a new place I am probably dreaming"
I use this trick for all sorts of things. My cousin was in jail for 5 years but often was in my dreams, so I repeated in my head "any time I see Todd I am probably dreaming.
Focus on the meaning as you repeat it to yourself a few hundred times for a few days in a row.

I was actually thinking about this question at 4am today, after a dream that took place in a totally strange place and populated by strange DC's...
I believe that there are two answers to your question, depending on how you react to your presence in strange settings during the dream:
1. If you know the places are strange during the dream, then I recommend as well that you take Sivason's advice and set a good intention that will help you to remember to remember when you find yourself in a strange place (sort of similar to spotting the odd in dreams)... and yes, unfortunately, success here may require lots of daywork (like repetition of that intention), so try to steel yourself for doing the exercises, and doing them sincerely.
2. If you do not know, during the dream, that the places are strange -- if they seem perfectly normal to you, during the dream, and you see no reason to question them, feel no sense of being misplaced or lost -- then you have a different problem altogether. If that's the case, then there likely isn't much you can do to cue yourself to lucidity, because there will be nothing that will trigger prospective memory, regardless of prep work. About the only thing I can think of is to make your daily repetition something like "I will look for my presence in strange places, and when I do, I will be dreaming," but, ironically, if you get that trigger to work, it will do so regardless of what you were dreaming (just the choosing to lok part tends to trigger lucidity), and getting that trigger to work can be difficult when you are in a dream reality that you truly believe is real.
So, if your situation is #2, I would recommend looking into WILD, or working hard on the Fundamentals during the day so maybe you'll become lucid anyway, regardless of what you're dreaming. If it's #1, see it as a god thing, because in time you might be able to spot the strangeness and do something about it.
