Title says it all really.
Personally, I've naturally had DILD's since I was 5. I used to wake myself up from nightmares. Now, my most common way of becoming lucid is by spontaneously realising in a dream that I am dreaming, and doing the nose RC to confirm.
I also set an alarm for 4am because I find if I do this, I recall 3-7 dreams that night and I am more likely to become lucid.
I usually attempt to use mantras, written or spoken in my head.
The first time I ever tried FILD, it worked for me straight away and I had an amazing lucid dream, but it has never worked for me since! I just can't get back to sleep while trying it.
16 days ago I started keeping a dream journal and since then my recall has improved and I've noticed that many of my dreams are actually taking place in the same place- a dark, dystopian version of my local city is the most common one.
Just decided to start this thread to see what techniques people find the most succesful :D
