Idea: The Suicide WILD (not literally)
I happen to be in the middle of one of those all-nighters, and I was thinking about wilding. Here's my thinking:
If one doesn't sleep for 24-36 hours or so, they create a massive amount of sleep deprivation that will ultimately make the brain anxious to get into REM sleep to make up for the lost time.
In theory then when one goes to bed they should be able to reach dreaming sleep fairly quickly, but will be too exhausted to maintain the necessary concentration for lucidity UNLESS they have a Rock Star or two, let's say, to boost his mental alertness.
It could be tricky to avoid either being too hopped up to sleep or going into a massive sleep attack, but is it a conceivable theory??
