Smart watch or something to train RC?

Hey guys, I've been doing my best keeping up with my gravity RC or ADA style practices.

While I do it sporadically throughout the day I do still get lost in automatic mode though. I want get to the next level! And yeah I tried using an interval alarm, or an audio on my phone, but it could disturb others and I can't have it on all the time.

So I'm trying to find some device that could help remind me to do it a bit more often and consistently. I thought a smart watch or a fitness wristbands would be great for this. If it could vibrate once every few minutes it wouldn't disturb anyone that much and I could keep it on most of the day too.

I was looking around and I found these for pretty cheap:

Wear24
miband 3
amazfit bip

Does anyone has experience with these or uses something similar, or better? Basically I wanted to get something easy to carry around anywhere, vibrates(so it's relatively silent, or maybe has a speaker), cheap and disposable so I can stop using it when I'm satisfied with my progress.

Here's something to consider: they all work great. What matters is, ultimately, how well you can pay attention to their signals.

Smart watch, Fit Bit, Gymboss, LaBerge's P.E.S.T, a piece of string tied around your finger, or whatever else someone's selling this week, all work just fine; sending you a signal at random intervals is not exactly rocket science. The technology doesn't matter; what does matter is how mentally prepared you are to sense a particular device's stimulus and then do something about it.

So pick the device you can most afford or are most comfortable with, and use it to enhance your own ability to pay attention... In other words, if you aren't able to develop the ability to take a moment to wonder who and where you are, then it doesn't matter what machine you use to initiate that moment ('cause it won't happen).

Thanks for your advice. Took me a few days to digest it but it really helped me focus on what I needed to change.

There's an app for android called "Lucidity Level". It has a reality check reminder and an ADA reminder. It's overall a good app with nice features like dream journal (with password), WILD anchors, etc.
You can configure almost everything yourself, like the intervals of alarms, signal type, message, and so on.

I used it for a few days in combination with my smartwatch (samsung galaxy) but sooner or later I realised that it's not the right thing for me, because in my case I really need to be determined and have the intent to LD to do it, "it has to come from within", so the alarms were becoming rather tiresome after some time. Now I'm focusing on inducing LD's without any external devices because I've done so in the past and know that I can do it.

P.S. There's also an app called "Sleep As Android" which can detect your REM sleep and send you a signal (vibration or sound) on your smartwatch. I tried it once, and then when the vibration started on my watch, it really startled me and felt like somebody grabbed my hand. I instantly woke up. Never used it again, but might try in future if I ever feel like I'm not able to induce LD's without any external help.
