He can come across that way. People who care about the subject, care about the nuances, which could also be the key to your breakthrough. I think if you watch it all the way through again, it could help. You may also want to watch his older impossible movement practice video, especially if you can't sit through the fild video. He is a best selling author on lucid dreaming who has been featured on the BBC and has decades of experience, so I think he deserves more attention than the average technique designer on Reddit. Long time lucid dreamers get annoyed by the continuous repackaging or long known techniques with slight changes and new -ILD names. I can see some value in them since I used to always look for new twists on old techniques but I don't think fild is a significant enough twist on using anchors in WILD attempts to merritt all of the attention it has garnered.
