Thanks for your post, this Is very helpful and reassuring. Since I’ve started utilising WBTB I have seen an increase in progress. My current approach is This : Mon + Tuesday very little day and pre- bed practice, wed-Thurs normal day practice and pre- bed practice. Fri,sat,sun usual day practice,pre bed practice and WBTBs. ( 2- 4 wake ups)
Fri-sun night practice : replaying my last and only Lucid Remembering feelings of how it felt ,
then visualising becoming lucid In a new lucid dream trying to create some body felt positivity/excitement/confidence and then as I fall asleep I say a mantra ( WILD) to edge my bets I had a dream recently where I felt like I had just nodded off before the dream and in the dream I was telling DCs “ yeah , I nearly did a WILD but I fell asleep As the dream began”
In short :
• focusing on being more self aware
•develop a positive strong feeling that I will LD tonight.
• trying to increase dream recall through out the week.
• RC - when I see something dream like or reoccurring DS.
I’m very keen to develop the level of self awareness so I can recognise the dream world rather than relying on reoccurring DS and LD without WBTB but on reflection For now may be that’s a Bit advanced and in the mean time I should focus on creating the habit of becoming lucid in the easiest way possible so my mind is familiar with how it feels what it looks like etc.
