common elements that make you reolize

I've had a dry spell, but I've been trying to fucus on common elements in my dreams by highlighting them in my journal....I'm really bad about writing in my journal, but this board has kinda inspired me because all your experiences are so similar to my own....Well on thing that came up like 3 times in the past 2 weeks is looking in the phonebooks and not being able to find the number I want anywhere....I never even use phonebooks anymore( the internet is easier ) Well after getting through my third phonebook last night It worked and made me reolize I was dreaming....I guess the journal pays off by enaleing you to see patterns you might ordinarilly forget.

I dont recall this happening to me very often.

I keep a mental journal or make sure when i wake from any sleep i recall as long and as much of the dreams as i can. Usually no more than 5 mins. Then throughout the day sometimes more memories of dream come back.
