Anything I can do to assure another?

Heya all. Well, I had my first two LD's (after actually knowing what these things were), and I just learned about it yesterday. But I think the only reason I had them was because I was so excited about wanting to have one yesterday. Is there anyway I can actually go to sleep and possibly have one (without having to wake up 6 hours through)? I REALLY don't want to get out of bed, then get back IN bed. Anyways, any help would be appreciated.

And one more thing...

WHAT THE HELL IS AN OUT OF BODY EXPERIENCE?! I see people posting about them all the time, but I just don't know exactly what happens. Lol, thanks.

Yes, you can have a lucid dream any time you enter a REM cycle. Your first REM cycle kicks in 90-120 minutes after you fall asleep at night. You will enter REM sleep on average every 90 minutes.

Begin working on recognizing dream signs, performing reality checks, and practicing MILD. You do not have to wake yourself up to have a lucid dream, in fact, most of my lucid dreams are still dream induced. That is, I suddenly recognize in the dream that is is a dream.

Now for OBE. I know nothing about it and have yet to have only had one person who has come close to presenting me any objective proof that they are for real, and his case was more of a near death experience than a classical OBE.

Ahh, okay, I appreciate the info. I really need to still train my LD's better. One more thing, can I start a WILD, and when I feel the hypnagogic imagery, start then MILDing? It's such a better thing for me, but I can get the the imagery stage with WILD, if you understand what i'm saying, lol. Anyways, I appreciate the help.

I'm not a pro on WILDs but from what iv'e heard, thats kinda the point. once you get into a certain stage in a wild you have to start telling yourself you'll enter a dream. Not always. thats just what I heard.
