dream re-entry techniques

This is a method that has worked very well for me. Almost 100 percent, when I have the time to do it.

This method works best when have no limits on how long you can sleep. The best time to try it is when you can sleep in late.

Dream re-entry, involves reentering a dream, when you feel like you are fading from it.

When one fades from a dream, he usually has sparks of conciousness that allow him to realize he's dreaming. He is in a very subconcious state, but he knows that he is fading from the dream. He subconciously realizes that it is a dream. But with dream re-entry, he will maintain that awareness, and re enter into with lucidity, dream. The key is maintaining the awareness, and not losing the dream.

Mostly what happens is, you will sense you are fading from the dream, and you will wake yourself up, and be too awake to re fade. But next time you enter this state, instead of just waking yourself up, try playing dead. Just don't move, your brain is still humming with dream waves, and a slip back in could be very simple.

This technique doesn't work if you are completely conciouss, after just leaving a dream. Sitting in your bed conciouss, it wont work. When this works is in the middle stage, between awakening and dreaming. When you fade, don't make yourself conciouss, remain in the half conciouss state. Slipping back into the dream world is really not too hard.

What is good about this technique, is it can be used to extend dreams over and over again. Playing out over a 30 minute continous period.

For some who have very unstable dreams, techniques like dream spinning will just propel them out of a dream. At the single closing of an eye, they might begin to fade out of a dream.

This happened to me last night. I became aware that my dream was a dream, only when it started to fade. I opened my eyes but then quickly shut them and I played dead and told myself not to move. In a matter of 5 seconds, in my left ear, only, I could hear radio static and then a voice came over it which scared the buh-jesus out of me so I woke up. And I couldn't move. I could open my eyes and my mouth was open, I couldn't close it lol. I could actually, hardly keep my eyes open. And then I sat up, only halfway, trying to sit up properly, I couldn't feel my arms or legs. It took a minute or two until I could finally sit the whole way up and open my eyes.

Yes...definately happened few times before only during fading. But there was once where I was to get up and write my dream journal and I was too KO to get up...so I continued to lay in bed just after a dream and before I knew it I could 'see' parts of my room transform itself into parts of the previous dream...very weird.
