Think this will work?
Ok so pretty much every night while trying to fall asleep ill be laying there waiting to fall asleep then back out and wake up about an hour later idk why but i always do it. Would it be wise to try a technique after only about an hour of sleeping. If so which technique would u suggest.

Might be hard, 'cause your REM-sleep starts after about 90min of sleeping, so I'd say you will only make it harder if waking before that. But you could always try some MILD but I won't promise it'll help... :|
